Elissa outraged

Despite the outstanding success of her most recent concert in Egypt for Valentine’s Day at the City Stars Intercontinental Hotel, Lebanese singer Elissa was outraged with the concert agent.

The singer was very angry with the organizer of the event due to the fact that he did not comply with all the conditions of the contract she signed with him. The agent had previously sent Elissa samples of the advertising posters, but upon her arrival she was shocked to see a completely different design of posters in the streets of Cairo.

The contract had also stated that the concert will be divided into two parts one for her and the second for Egyptian singer Mohammad Hamaki, but she was also surprised to discover that a third section was added for Egyptian controversial belly dancer Dina.

Due to these two reasons the singer decided to give her performance at the beginning of the event instead of the end, which is what she normally does and she sang a collection of her most popular hits for a period of 45 minutes. By doing this, a large number of the audience had left with the singer to take pictures and have her sign autographs.

Elissa had conquered the number one spot at being the most paid for singer to perform on Valentine’s Day with a wage of almost 75 thousand US dollars, the highest wage paid to a singer to perform on the special occasion.

On a different note, Elissa is preparing to film the music video for the song “Lao Ta’rafouh” (If You Knew Him) for a second time. The singer had previously filmed a clip for the song under the direction of Salim Turk, but was unsatisfied with the outcome and so decided to redo it once more.

Elissa had requested that production company ‘Rotana’ not air the video for the song stating that it is not up to her standards.

Elissa announced that she will no longer work with directors Salim or Saeed Al Marouq after both men publicly criticized the singer and never apologized.

The singer revealed that she will be working with a foreign director and is also considering filming a music video for the song “Kirmalak” (For You), which is written and composed by singer Marwan Kkoury.
